David was born in Crystal City, Texas, but grew up in the Corpus Christi area. After graduating from Robstown High School, David attended a University in Corpus Christi and was studying to be a Physical Therapist, when God called him into the ministry. After attending and graduating from Bible Seminary, David entered into Pastoral Ministry.

During the 30 years of pastoral ministry, David has been District Assistant Director for Christian Education and District Assistant Director of Missions. And is now embarking on a new ministry journey that God has placed in his heart by working with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). As the Area Director, David is excited and expectant for the great things God will accomplish through this ministry.

David has dedicated his life to serving others and spreading the message of faith, hope, and love. His extensive experience as a pastor has equipped him with the skills and passion needed to lead and inspire those around him.

David and his wife, Irma, have been happily married for 26 years. Together, they have raised two wonderful children: David Bryan, 25, and Kelly, 23. The De La Rosa family is deeply committed to their faith and to supporting each other in their individual and collective journeys.

David looks forward to this new chapter with FCA and is eager to see how God will use him to make a positive impact in the lives of athletes and coaches in his community.
